When you want to do more than survive:

Resilient Expats Kim Adams College and University Speaker

Welcome!

I’m a 10+ year expat and mom to three third culture kids (TCKs), currently in Oman.

I love learning about the unique challenges of expat life, and how we can turn them into strengths.

Most of all, I love sharing what I’ve learned. I hope you too will find reassurance and feel more empowered.

Kim advised me how to help the kids open up and talk about how they felt. It was extremely helpful.

I get
the relocation struggle.

Your life's disrupted. You're exhausted.

From the time you know the move is coming, until about a year after the move, your life is in upheaval.

From mildly unfamiliar to pure chaos, it’s adventurous and exciting … and exhausting.

You push through.

Meanwhile, you have a family to take care of.

You throw yourself into school, jobs, groceries, figuring it will all settle down eventually.

You start to wonder if you're doing it right.

Some days you feel adventurous; some days you feel lonely, lost.

You feel on top of the world! Then scattered, overwhelmed.

When is life going to be “normal” again?

A magic wand, perhaps? Not exactly

But there is definitely help!

Somehow, knowing more about what's happening in your mind and body helps.

Understanding the stages of transition helps.

Knowing that what you're going through is NORMAL helps.

Transform your family's experience of transition from a confusing, isolating test of endurance to a manageable challenge so you can develop and thrive.

Here you'll find the know-how in easy, practical, bite-sized pieces.
